After working a couple of years in an intensive care unit, Alex Stow signed up to be a travel nurse, tripling his pay to about $95 an hour by agreeing to help short-staffed hospitals around the country for 13 weeks at a time. https://t.co/JGje9oWyQG
@LinzDeFranco Hospitals don’t have enough nurses to staff their beds. Sometimes their is physically a bed available, but no nurse to take care of a patient that occupies that bed. I don’t know where they would get the staff to treat patients of the ships.
All I need in this life is for @zachlanebryan to name my new Bronco and it will be complete. (For reference, I think it’s a girl but other theories are welcome)
The Uber driver taking me to the hospital tonight informed me that the physician who created the 12 hour shifts for healthcare workers was a raging cocaine addict and honestly this makes so much more sense.
We remember Nelson Cheng.
Nelson and his wife, Leslie, came to the U.S. in 1978. His American Dream was to own his own business – a dream fulfilled in 1989 when he purchased the Carvel Ice Cream store in Hamilton’s Yardville section.
May God bless Nelson.
For my entire adult life I was under the impression that windshield wipers went straight up when it’s cold out all on their own. Turns out that is not the case. Shocked.
My mom just asked me if I’ve ever seen a calf being born and then when I said no scoffed at me as if she’s disappointed in my life skills. Like??? I’m sorry???
I was trying to explain to my mom how snapmaps will change your Bitmoji to reflect whatever it is you’re doing (driving, listening to music, etc.) and she asked me if it shows you when you’re on the toilet and I just 🤦🏻♀️
