Trump praises Syrian President Ahmed al Sharaa for the job he’s done in Syria, and claims he’d do a better job dealing with Hezbollah than Israel.
"He'd love to go on it, you know. Hezbollah is an enemy of his, and he’d go on it. But he wouldn't knock down buildings every time he heard there’s somebody. He’d just go and get them with precision."
Trump says Iran can retain its ballistic missiles.
"I mean, they have to have some, because other people have some. They got to have some."
"Missiles aren’t the problem. They hurt a little location, but they don’t blow up the planet."
Trump on Israel and Netanyahu:
We had a deal that would going to give them (Iran) legally a nuclear weapon, and if that happened, Israel would have been blown away.
In all fairness to Bibi Netanyahu, who happens to be a good man, gets a little excited sometimes. But he happens to be a very good man. We’ve had an amazing partnership. He’s been an amazing prime minister who we have a little dispute over Lebanon. I say you can do a little softer touch, Bibi. You don’t have to knock down a building every time somebody walks into it that’s from Hezbollah. But it’s been an amazing partnership. But he will say we’re the big partner, and he’s the very small partner, and that’s true.
Reporter: Do you want Israel to halt its military campaign (in Lebanon)?

Trump warns that if he doesn’t like the emerging deal, or if Iran "misbehaves," the US will resume bombing Iran.
Trump also criticizes the JCPOA nuclear deal, saying the Obama administration tried to buy compliance by sending Iran $1.7 billion in cash while Iran’s leaders laughed at Obama.
Iran has fired multiple drones at commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz since the US and Iran signed the MOU, a US official told NBC News.
The official said the IRGC has been launching drones every night, and the US military has been shooting them down before they can threaten ships in the area.
A $300 billion private fund designed to spur investment in Iran is outlined in the US-Iran MOU, and more than half of the sum has already been committed.
The fund - to be named the Reconstruction and Development Fund - is separate from the lifting of US sanctions and the release of Iranian sovereign assets frozen abroad.
It will not be created or become operational until a final deal is concluded. Companies in the US, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and other countries have already made commitments.

Trump praises Iran’s leaders, describing them as rational, nice to deal with, strong, smart and not radicalized. He also says they are looking to help their country.
CNN reports that US intelligence agencies have recently assessed that Iran can:
• Shut down access to the Strait of Hormuz at will, giving it a powerful tool to hurt the global economy.
• Leverage targeted strikes against the energy infrastructure of Gulf countries.
Despite the US-Iran MOU:
• Hezbollah launched rockets toward the area where IDF forces were operating in southern Lebanon.
• The IDF struck and destroyed a launcher from which some of the rockets were fired.
• The IDF struck what it called a "suspicious vehicle" in the area where its forces were operating, after firing warning shots. Four people were killed in the strike, according to Al Mayadeen.
