@1981Mirjana False. Russian interference and internal corruption provoked Maidan. Ukrainians overthrew their govt, Russia then responded by invading Ukraine, starting a war and stealing Ukr territory. Russias war on Ukraine is evil and wrong. Dont justify Russias evil with false narratives.
So now, amid the government reshuffle, it’s absolutely crucial to watch that Zelensky doesn’t make a stupid mistake by removing Mykhailo Fedorov because, as rumors have it, the best defense minister in Ukraine’s history doesn’t get along particularly well with General Syrskyi and his methods. And I’m being completely serious.
@TheFl0orIsLaVa@polidemitolog do you think this is correct!? genuine question. you would have a good understanding of the general sentiment of serbians towards putin in serbia? how could any people, serbians or otherwise, like and support what putin is doing in ukraine? horrific!
Meanwhile, the "Sborka" semiconductor plant in Voronezh, Russia, manufactured components for Kh-101 cruise missiles, the Iskander-K missile system, and the Pantsir-S1 air defense system.
It appears that it won't be manufacturing them anymore.
Last night, our long-range sanctions targeted the occupiers’ military logistics, oil industry, and air defense. All of this is a just response to Russia’s brutal attacks against our people. I thank the warriors of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Special Operations Forces for their successful work at a distance of about 300 kilometers from the frontline.
Facilities on both sides of the Crimean Bridge were hit: maritime logistics used to transport oil in the Krasnodar region and an oil depot in temporarily occupied Kerch. In addition, military logistics facilities were successfully struck, along with four radar stations belonging to S-400 systems and two Pantsir systems.
I am grateful to all our warriors for their precision and professionalism. Russia understands only strength, and our long-range strength is certainly working for peace. Glory to Ukraine!
‼️🇺🇦🇷🇺 Zelensky :
« Poutine craint un million de soldats russes qui reviendront et demanderont : “Pour quoi nous sommes-nous battus ?” »
C’est probablement l’une des plus grandes peurs du Kremlin : pas seulement perdre des hommes, mais devoir affronter ceux qui reviendront vivants.
Des soldats traumatisés, mutilés, abandonnés, revenus d’une guerre vendue comme “existentielle”, et qui découvriront que tout cela n’a servi qu’à enrichir un régime, détruire un voisin et isoler leur propre pays.
Kasparov: Ukraine performed a historical miracle.
The coming funeral of the Russian Empire, which I believe is not far away, is the result of the heroism of the Ukrainian people and, yes, of Zelenskyy’s political leadership. 1/
@apoorvkapil@KateGoesTech@RadioGenoa It was blatantly obvious he was a corrupt agent of Russia. Dirty money is flowing from Putin to Orban to buy his support. That's why millions of Hungarians were chanting "Russia out" at anti Orban rallies.
Our long-range sanctions this week. Most of the operations are still ongoing, so the video captures only a portion of our results. Be-200 amphibious aircraft, a Ka-27 helicopter, a cargo vessel carrying ammunition, a Pantsir-S1 surface‑to‑air missile and gun system, a Tor surface-to-air missile system, a Redut-2US communications unit, drones, and many other targets have been hit. Our long-range sanctions also struck Russian oil industry facilities and ships. Distances traversed: nearly 1,000 kilometers from the line of contact.
These are our entirely justified responses to what the Russians are doing. We will continue to increase both the range and scale of these sanctions. I thank everyone working to build up our strength. I thank the warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and our intelligence agencies for their precision.
Our responses to Russia’s prolongation of the war and its attacks on our cities and communities are entirely justified. This time, Ukrainian long-range sanctions reached the Moscow region, and we are clearly telling the Russians: their state must end its war. Ukrainian drone and missile manufacturers continue their work. I am grateful to the Security Service of Ukraine and all the Defense Forces of Ukraine for their precision. The distance from Ukraine’s state border is over 500 km. The concentration of Russian air defense in the Moscow region is the highest. But we are overcoming it. Glory to Ukraine!

BROWDER: "Putin has made huge mistakes. This war is just a gigantic catastrophic mistake. A US think tank calculated his financial losses at about $700 billion. His personnel losses are 1.2 to 1.3 million men either dead or disabled, plus another million who have left the country.
He’s lost Syria, Iran, Venezuela—not to mention Armenia. To the extent that he wanted to contain NATO, he’s got two new NATO members on his borders: Sweden and Finland.
The economy is in a complete tailspin. It’s a catastrophe on every possible level for Vladimir Putin. If he was thinking this was some smart move, he’s set Russia back generations with his evil invasion of Ukraine."
February 24 is a special date. Even if there were an intention or relevant steps toward bringing certain elections forward, I believe it would be an utterly stupid idea to use such a date to talk about politics. This is a very serious date – four years of war. It’s a large number of people who have defended our state and given their lives. And it is since February 24 that our people have been defending their country every day. I could never do such a thing.
Therefore, February 24 cannot be used to announce any elections – any elections at all. This is not about individuals. No elections can be announced on February 24.
As for announcing elections in general, I’ll repeat: first security, then politics. We can move toward elections when all the relevant security guarantees are in place. The issue of elections has been raised by various partners. Ukraine itself has never raised it. But of course, we are ready for elections. It’s very simple to do: establish a ceasefire – and there will be elections. Meaning, it is a matter of security.
The temperature in Ukraine is below -20°C (-4°F). Overnight, Russia attacked with 450 drones and over 60 missiles, including ballistic ones.
Primary targets: energy and residential houses in Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, and other regions.
Putin waited for the temperatures to drop and stockpiled drones and missiles to continue his genocidal attacks against the Ukrainian people.
Neither anticipated diplomatic efforts in Abu Dhabi this week nor his promises to the United States kept him from continuing terror against ordinary people in the harshest winter.
We are dealing with terrorists who must be forced to stop violence.
The world has the tools. Strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and energy resilience. Increase pressure on Moscow.
Deprive the Russian war machine of energy revenues and access to technology. Isolate the Russian regime. Stop and confiscate Russia’s illegal oil tankers.
Putin must be deprived of illusions that he can achieve anything by his bombing, terror, and aggression.
It is shocking how little coverage there is of an unfolding humanitarian catastrophe in Ukraine due to Russia's destruction of its energy grid. It's -20C outside and half of the country experienced a total blackout today. Metro trains stopped operating in Kyiv and Kharkiv today. Rolling blackouts have been ongoing for weeks, often with no heating and running water inside people's houses. People get sick and die because of this. In the meantime, Russians laugh and call for more strikes to punish Ukraine for its unwillingness to surrender. These are strikes affecting millions of civilians amid the harshest winter in decades. These are crimes against humanity that Russia is confident it will get away with. We cannot let that happen
