Congratulations to Easten Turko on being named the 2025–26 Manitoba U18 AAA Defenceman of the Year and earning First Team All-Star honours.

In 44 games this season, Turko recorded 14 goals and 49 assists for 63 points.

In other prospects news, Easten Turko and Urijah Moosetail of the U18 AAA Wheat Kings were both named to the Manitoba U-18 AAA first all star team, and Turko was named Most Outstanding Defenseman. So the top two U18 d-men on the prairies are BWK prospects.

Not to be outdone, Wheat Kings’ prospect Easten Turko is chasing some history of his own. With a game remaining, his 61 points are the most by a U18 AAA Wheat King d-man as far back as the records go (40 years!!)
