@NoelG818181@C1981L@TheBoxingMan_ Not at all, decent domestic level fighter is Dave Allen. He's just got no business fighting world level guys. Should set his sights on a Lonsdale belt. Would be a far better pursuit for him than chasing fights with top 10 ranked fighters.
@TheBoxingMan_ Yes. Won the vacant WBC title against a bang average opponent, defended it twice against average opponents, and went on to lose virtually every fight he had against genuinely world class opposition. The only thing he's famous for is managing to duck Ricky Hatton for a decade.
@nrogers959@Mychaelh Probably a bit ambitious. The land the Stadium sits on I believe is valued around ยฃ35m, playing staff I'd guess another ยฃ60m or so. Can't think anyone is gonna pay another ยฃ80m for the brand, particularly given we seem to need over a ยฃ1m a month investment to keep afloat.
@nrogers959@Mychaelh Only tells half the story that though, doesn't it? And a load of people have reposted what you said talking about a write off, which it really ain't. It's as it sounds, shares issued to creditors instead of a repayment of their loan.
@nrogers959@Mychaelh So you should know that debt being converted to shares isn't the same as a write off then mate. Ain't trying to be a dick or anything. Just saying that to call it a write ain't exactly true.
@nrogers959@Mychaelh Not technically a write off mate. A write off would be just making the debt go away with nothing in return. I think the PSR rules prohibit debts to shareholders being written off, but they do allow a small amount of debt each season to be converted to shares.
@nrogers959@Mychaelh Not technically written off. Converted to shares, which makes the debt go away but dilutes the position of other shareholders. I'm assuming most (if not all) of the ยฃ21m came from Ruben. If so, it means his percentage ownership would increase whilst everyone else's would shrink.
@afneil@estherckrakue Labour do have some right thick people on their books, but this woman continues to take the biscuit. If you don't want to consider the impact of decisions on the bond market maybe stop over spending and printing money to cover your irresponsible expenditure. Good grief!
@toadmeister You're talking about the Asian variant found in China and Russia which is far more common and less lethal. This Andes version is far less common with only a few hundred cases a year, killing half of those infected. Not saying we should panic, only that your info isn't right!
@snoyberg@AimenDean@MaxNordau He's just vile. I dunno how those on the left think that speaking to people in such a disrespectful manner is either acceptable or in any way advancing their cause. It just makes me want to listen to his opinion even less!
