🇬🇧🇳🇬JUST IN - “Nobody Cares When Nigerian Christians Are Slaughtered” ~Kemi Badenoch Blasts Western Silence
British Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch has delivered a fiery speech condemning Islamic extremism, drawing from her experiences growing up in Nigeria and her long-standing concerns over attacks against Christians in the country.
Speaking at a Turning Point UK event in London, Badenoch referenced the 2014 Chibok schoolgirls kidnapping by Boko Haram and linked it to broader global patterns of extremist violence.
“Many of you know that I was born in this country, but I grew up in Nigeria,” she said. “And in 2014 I remember when 300 schoolgirls were stolen from their schools by Islamic extremism and they did not return. Only a few returned.”
She also referenced the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel.
“On October 7th I saw it. The stealing of children, the murder, the massacre of young people at music festivals. We know what this is and we should not pretend,” Badenoch stated.
Badenoch, who has repeatedly spoken about violence against Christians in Nigeria and Islamist attacks targeting Christian communities, criticised what she described as fear among some leaders and commentators to openly identify extremist ideology.
“There are many people who are afraid to call it what it is. There are many people who are afraid to call it out. I am NOT AFRAID,” she declared.
“We do need to stand against extremism. We do need to stand against Islamic extremism.”
A Christian is killed every 2 hours in sub-Saharan Africa. More than 70% of all Christians killed for their faith last year were Nigerian. And yet 94% of Nigerian Catholics still show up to Mass every Sunday. The highest attendance rate on the planet.

Pope Leo on Corruption and Governance
"If it is true that 'a state without justice is nothing but a large band of thieves,' we must never forget that the exercise of authority is a service... it must be lived with a lucid and upright conscience, without falling into the idolatry of corruption."

Cameroon has once again survived the US visa bond requirement, which mandates that people from 53 countries pay $15,000 (approximately 8.5 million CFA francs) to the US government, refundable only upon leaving the United States.
The policy was first introduced last year and became effective early this year.
It initially affected 38 nations, of which 22 are African countries. These include Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burundi, Cabo Verde, the Central African Republic, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Gabon, The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Malawi, Mauritania, Namibia, Nigeria, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Under the latest restrictions, which targeted 15 countries, only six African nations remain on the list: Ethiopia, Lesotho, Mauritius, Mozambique, Seychelles, and Tunisia.
This measure is part of the Trump administration's efforts to curb immigration to the United States. Officials claim that citizens from these countries tend to overstay their visas once they enter the US.
The expanded visa policy applies to those seeking B1 and B2 visas for business and tourism and will take effect immediately from April 2.
"The bond will be returned to visa recipients who return home in compliance with the terms of the visa and the bond, or if they do not travel," said the US State Department.

So the African Union is holding an "emergency session" on Israel's recognition of Somaliland. More useless hot air and carbon dioxide; zero results. Some members petrified of their own mistreated regions going their own way. Try providing justice to all!

The U.S. government says foreign aid will now go straight to national governments, not routed through NGOs anymore.
The logic is blunt: if the goal is to help a country, fund the country — not middlemen turning aid into their next business model.
