Proud to announce our guest speaker for the sports awards is PGMOL assistant referee Jonathan Hunt. He will be talking about his playing days at Sunderland and transition into refereeing.
A fantastic win for our U16 Basketball team, winning their first round game in Lancashire Cup. Congratulations to Lucas P for his MOM.
We have also seen excellent performances from our Year 7 indoor athletics teams in District Athletics- the girls came 2nd and boys 4th.
We are incredibly proud of Jess in Y10 who took part in the Disability Artistic Gymnastic British Championships on Saturday in Cardiff.
Jessβ outstanding performance saw her return with an array of medals including a Gold Medal in the Vault and all round silver medalist.
A huge well done to the Year 7 Girls Football team who are now district champions! They won every game without conceding a goal, a fantastic team performance throughout. πβ½οΈπ
Fantastic effort from the 3 football teams this evening. Y7 AND Y11 both picking up wins against OLQP. Unfortunately Y10 could not follow suit and despite a valiant effort were beaten in the end. Well done all.

Last week the some of the TA sports leaders supported Tarleton Community Primary school (TCP) at their annual Inflatable sports evening. They did a brilliant job and really enjoyed the experience! βΊοΈ
To conclude our week of events to celebrate 'National Sports Week', today saw the ultimate penalty shoot out between Y10 students v staff. The less said about the score the better, but well done to Year 10! ππ
