no i don’t really want to be friends with someone who caused irreparable damaged to my mental state facebook i do not care how long it has been you can go fuck yourself
This whole theory that “if everyone has a problem with you, then you’re the problem” or that if you have a problem with everyone, you must be the issue is deeply flawed and honestly unfair. There are people who are widely liked not because they’re good people, but because they’re agreeable, pretentious, and willing to conform. And there are people who are constantly labeled “difficult” simply because they don’t know how to play along or pretend. The thing is The more easygoing, accommodating, and “let’s keep the peace” you are, the more you’re perceived as likable even if it means constantly shrinking yourself. Meanwhile, the moment you stand firm, call things out, and choose not to be pretentious, you’re suddenly labeled difficult. Sometimes, it’s not that someone has a problem with everyone; it’s that they’re just not willing to tolerate what everyone else is comfortable tolerating.
Having parents who didn’t prepare you for literally anything in life, judging you for being “behind” as an adult is definitely a canon event for a lot of neurodivergent people.
Saw two adolescent boys absolutely terrorizing a family of geese across a huge public park lawn. No reason. Just for fun. Scaring them. Chasing them. Trying to kick them. I was fifty yards away. “Hey! Leave the geese alone!” Nothing. “Hey!!! Stop chasing the geese!!!” They looked at me and hesitated. Then kept going. I summoned the spirit of every soul brutalized by men and said “LEAVE THE BIRDS ALONE!!!!!!!” The entire waterfront park stopped and the boys RAN to their dad.
I am at the point where I have zero embarrassment for calling out men of every age for their actions. Whatever sickness men have, it starts young. It starts taking pleasure in the distress of others. I simply won’t stand for it.
And parents! The fuq ya’ll doin with these boys????????
i realized that a lot of adults are healing their inner child and that's one of the reasons why i don't make fun of people who have "childish" hobbies. some people didn't get to have a childhood until they became adults.
