@psychiel There's no rule saying that viable mutations to fill up the gaps have to ever happen and the probability is likely low given everything that can happen instead.
@psychiel It's hard not to think of evolution as changing organisms towards a goal but it doesn't and it's random selected changes in preexisting features, wrinkling just randomly appeared and was selected for because it made us smarter.
@Prototype27F I think that it may just be a dumb way of saying that he support Ukraine but he's gonna act happy that people on the other side are killed, which seems reasonable enough to me.
@jokieliu It's wrong and create a confused worldview but it's a very genuine one common in Japan, similar to how war and forgiveness is shown in Naruto.
@jokieliu It's true in the sense that unlike what some people claimed the author isn't a nationalist justifying Japan's past but is a relatively liberal japanese man who genuinely can only understand Japan's war crimes and its consequences as a cycle of hatred.
@AndyMasley It's bad thinking but most people think of online platforms as being "The Internet" and the tech people and owners behind them only exist when they make annoying changes.
@Blarg08125613@avrilbradley23 From what I understand, there is an original russian nationalist version and an international one that's just about the general idea of a buried hidden lost eurasian empire with 19th, 20th architecture as proof, sometimes also including North America.
@Noahpinion The problem is that, although it may not be actually true, that belief is seemingly common enough among even the top individuals that simply lying about it would be worse. The simplest explanation is that at least Dario is sincere so him especially lying would be bad.
@OliFatouAisha@75secondes Countries without a state monopoly of violence are poor failed states while Belgium is wealthier than all african nations, cases like that make emotions boil for understandable reasons but there are deep reasons why vigilante justice can't be tolerated.
@Dishwater_Crane@rightscholar What does it have to do with the factual claims that religions have though? Christianity being good for society isn't gonna make you believe that Jesus must actually have risen from the dead for example.
