@TBush1689@osucowboytc "...become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings."
@TBush1689@osucowboytc Keller only followed in a hallowed tradition. MAGA believers want to deny the need to see the sins of our forebears. That denies history, logic and the key Biblical examples.
Also, Paul said he would...
@WikmanNathan@WilliamWolfe Wrong.
Daniel 9:4–19 — Daniel confesses, "We have sinned and done wrong..."
Ezra 9:5–15 — Ezra confesses the sins of Israel.
Nehemiah 1:6–7 — Nehemiah confesses "the sins we Israelites, including myself and my father's family, have committed."
@conocon_conley@SamuelMart97320@RealLindellTV Lindell still faces other legal consequences. Although this particular suit has been dropped, Lindell has already been found liable in a separate defamation case brought by former Dominion executive Eric Coomer, and he continues to face litigation from Smartmatic. @conocon_conley@SamuelMart97320@RealLindellTV Dominion was sold in 2025 to former election official Scott Leiendecker and rebranded as Liberty Vote. The new owners appear to be focusing on operating the election-technology business rather than continuing years-long litigation. (Votebeat)
@PiperJustPiper@RealLindellTV Nah. Lindell still faces other legal consequences. Although this particular lawsuit has been dropped, Lindell has already been found liable in a separate defamation case brought by former Dominion executive Eric Coomer, and he continues to face litigation from Smartmatic.

@TBush1689@osucowboytc Or maybe Keller was influenced by these guys?

@RossDHarmon@WilliamWolfe This crowd is totally binary. They only see folks as all good or all bad. I agree with you. Keller has had a significant impact on my life and faith.
@cloonaka@WilliamWolfe Oddly, the South was not prospering from slavery. The GDP of the north was much higher. It turns out you need to have consumers to grow an economy. Slaves make lousy consumers. Only the sliver of citizens (all plantation owners) benefitted.
@vulvadeutsch@JoelWBerry It's not so simple. Christians fought for the end of slavery in John Brown, MLK and most of the Civil Rights leaders. Others used christianity to defend their sins of enslavement. Non-Christians were on both sides as well. It is not a faith issue. It is a greed issue.
