Today, with rumours in Ottawa flying about the appointment of past MP Marco Mendicino as an interim Chief of Staff with new Liberal Leader Mark Carney, the National Council of Canadian Muslims is greatly concerned about this potential appointment, given Mr. Mendicino’s questionable record on matters of national security and international human rights.
