@WriteBlendbooks I would like to nominate "Where is my smile?" By the brilliant author @BillingReeves who created this book to teach children about the importance of our emotions and to value open communication with one another.
I had the pleasure of attending Sheffield's DocFest this weekend. What a fantastic experience it was, from events, talks and documentary debut's. It was great to be around people from all walks of life and at various stages of their careers.
@drjuliashaw First time experiencing hay fever for me this year. It's been absolutely hell. Swollen eye, runny nose, constantly sneezing, crying from the irritated eyes, it's even gone to my chest now. I should have appreciated life more pre-hayfever .
Happy to announce that I will be graduating from LJMU with a Distinction in MA Documentary. I'd like to thank most importantly my contributors. As well as my family, friends, and supervisors for supporting me.

Volunteers sorted litter today to launch #PlasticFreeMersey, a project with @MerseyRivers and others to identify common litter types on the River Mersey catchment. You can sign up for citizen science training, or register an interest, on our website https://t.co/m4hDpeL0gO
Filmed at today's event for my master's course.
It's a really great project which aims to create collaborations between charities and companies to tackle plastic pollution in waterways. Which can then be applied to other UK rivers and beyond.
If you can volunteer, do!
We and @Thames21 are launching #PlasticFreeMersey at Liverpool Waterfront on 22 July. We are recruiting volunteers to carry out surveys of the different types of plastic litter along the waterways of the Mersey. Full training provided - please sign up at: https://t.co/0OE0IGDEZT
Domestic violence represents one of the predominant sources of violence, humiliation and death world wide. Roughly on par with all of the killings and abuse caused in a given period of time by all of the world's armed conflicts taken together.
In this ep we discuss a famous German case which is the subject of ep 1 of my new German TV show “Mörderische Frauen”.
We discuss whether domestic violence is a form of torture and whether you need to be a sadist to torture people (spoiler: no).

While I am by no means perfect my documentary has really got me thinking about our waste. I hope it will do the same to others once I complete it and share it with you all.
Today is #WorldEnvironmentDay did you know that drinks containers make up 75% of the litter found on our streets. Or that the UK produces more plastic waste per person than almost any other country in the world - second only to the USA.
Think before you by single use plastic!
The whole concept of single-use plastic is bizarre since it implies that we can simply throw it away and forget about it. The use may be single and short-lived, but the material is most certainly not.

@MerseyRivers Hi! Sorry to be a nuisance but I've yet to hear back from you. I'd love to be able to have you as a contributor in this project as I know you'd be able to provide a really great look into the impacts we've made to our waters and how your charity is making our environment better.
Hi all, if you could take some time to read a bit about my Master's project below that would be great! I'm looking for participants for it so please respond if interested. Struggling to find contributors because of Covid, any help is appreciated!

@tommartincrone Hi Tom! I'd love to but I'm afraid I don't think Twitter allows people to DM each other unless both people follow each other. Would you like me to drop you an email instead?
Well I somehow deleted my tweet... But if you didn't get a chance to see it I'm looking for contributors for my documentary project more information below. Please if you feel you'd be able to help contact me as Covid has made finding people to get involved a challenge! Thanks :)
@tommartincrone would love to get you on board with this project as I know this is something you are interested in addressing and taking action towards tackling. Thanks!
