تكريماً لإرث الوالد المؤسس، واحتفاءً بالقيم التي رسّخها في المجتمع، وجهوده في تأسيس الدولة وإرساء دعائم اتحادها، كشفت 'هيئة الثقافة والفنون في دبي'، بالتعاون مع 'هيئة الطرق والمواصلات في دبي' و'مركز تشكيل'، عن تنفيذ مشروع 'الأمانة - نصب تذكاري للشيخ زايد'، وهو عبارة عن جدارية تجسّد مفاهيم العطاء والصمود المتجذّرة في مسيرة الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، طيّب الله ثراه.
تصوّر هذه الجدارية، وهي من فكرة وتصميم الفنانة الإماراتية ميثاء دميثان، وتنفيذ الفنان الكرواتي المتخصّص في فن البورتريه 'لوناك'، قيماً سامية كالصمود والكرم. كما تعبّر، برمزيتها ومعانيها، عن دور القيادة الرشيدة واهتمامها بحماية الموروث المحلي وصونه عبر الأجيال.
تأتي هذه المبادرة في إطار 'استراتيجية الفن في الأماكن العامة' التي تتولى #دبي_للثقافة مسؤولية تفعيلها، لتُحوّل المساحات العامة إلى معرض فني عالمي مفتوح يحتفي بالتراث والهوية والقيم المشتركة.

Honouring a legacy that continues to give across generations, the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai and Tashkeel, unveils ‘Al Amanah’ — a powerful mural inspired by the life and values of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. With concept and design by Emirati artist Maitha Demithan, and brought to life by Croatian portrait artist Lonac, the artwork reflects themes of generosity and resilience. Like a seed planted with purpose, its impact continues to grow, echoing the spirit of our Founding Father and the nation he nurtured. Part of Dubai Culture’s Public Art Strategy, this initiative transforms public space into a living tribute to heritage, identity, and shared values.
