How do we get more parents back to work and create even more disconnection in families? By offering “free hours” of childcare for even younger children.

1. Nothing is free in the UK.

2. It will affect the workers even more.

Unpopular opinion but there is a track record of this country hurrying parents back to work before their children can even speak. The fact that the compulsory age for school is 5 - *2 years* younger than many other countries…
