⚠️ Important Notice regarding and the Steam Market! ⚠️

Hey everyone,

Just a quick heads-up on what’s going on with the game right now. The development team has had to temporarily suspend the ability to list items on the Steam Market.

The reason? There's way too much spam traffic caused by bots, so they’ve taken this step to cool things down a bit.

Here is what you need to know about the current situation:

Goodbye to the Trade Ship (for now): An update has been rolled out that completely disables the in-game Trade Ship menu.

Update your game! If you are on an older version, the menu will still let you in, but it’ll throw an error whenever you try to load items. Your best bet is to update to the latest version right away.

What CAN you still do? Don't panic: you can still cancel your existing listings to get your items back, and you can buy items listed by other users completely as normal. Only listing new items is currently blocked.

The closure started today, Monday, June 8, 2026. We'll have to wait for a separate announcement to know exactly when we can start selling normally again.

The time to secure your items is NOW: If you are missing a key item for your build, want to hoard some cheap chests, or are looking for that skin you've wanted so bad, make sure to buy it as soon as possible. The closer we get to 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, the less cheap stock will be left available.

Hey everyone! I’m bringing you a super important update. The developers of Task Bar Hero have just made a drastic but very necessary decision to save the game: they are temporarily closing the Steam Community Market, and the closure will take effect tomorrow, Monday the 8th at 9:00 a.m. CEST with a new update.

Here is a quick summary of what is happening and how it affects you:

🕵️‍♂️ Why have they taken this measure?

The game has exploded so much in popularity that it has become filled with bots. These automated bots are making thousands of buy and sell requests per second, leaving the Steam servers completely fried. That is the real reason why the juego is lagging so much, why the connection drops, and why chests take forever to appear.

By closing the market, they cut off the bots' tap, and the game will be able to breathe while they finish moving everything over to the new dedicated servers.

💼 How will this closure work starting tomorrow? (What you need to know)

Sales will be blocked at 9:00 a.m. CEST: As soon as tomorrow Monday's update is applied, the button to sell your Task Bar Hero items will be disabled. No new items will be allowed onto the market.

You can still buy what is already listed: If you need any item that someone uploaded before the 9:00 a.m. cutoff, you will still be able to buy it.
You can cancel your current sales: If you have weapons or chests up for sale right now and prefer to get them back, you can cancel the sale whenever you want, and they will return to your inventory instantly and 100% safely.

🔒 Are my items in danger?

Not at all, rest completely assured. All the chests, skins, and items you have in your Steam inventory remain saved and safe there. The lockdown is only to stop the massive transactions that are crashing the game.

⏳ When will things go back to normal?

There is no exact date yet. The market will reopen as soon as the team finishes setting up their own dedicated servers and manages to stop the bot traffic for good.

📢 Quick Update on Task Bar Hero! Bug Fixes & Change of Plans 🛠️
Hey everyone! I’ve got some fresh (and urgent) news straight from the Task Bar Hero development team. There’s a mix of good and bad news, so make sure to check out the details:

📦 1. The Missing Chests Bug (Fixed!)
If you’ve been playing lately and noticed that your chests weren't showing up, don't worry—they just deployed a quick hotfix to patch it up.

However, to keep from completely crashing the Steam servers, they had to implement a slightly "weird" temporary workaround:

Chests will stack up: The game will now hold your requests and deliver your chests all at once in bulk instead of one by one.

What to do if you don't see them? If you have a ton of chests stacked in your Steam inventory, the trick is to go to Mailbox ➔ Refresh ➔ Claim Chest ➔ Open Chest. You might need to repeat this a few times.

⚠️ Important Tip: If you have a lot of stacked chests, do not open a chest immediately after receiving it. Instead, hit the Refresh button first so the system can properly load the maximum amount of chests you have pending.

They know this isn't the smootjenst experience right now, but it's an emergency measure while they work on a permanent fix. Let's show them a little patience!

⏳ 2. Tomorrow's Update Has Been Postponed
Remember the new "Relay Server" they were supposed to add tomorrow (Monday) to block out the bots? Well, it has been put on hold for now.

During testing, the devs realized that this measure isn't enough to handle the massive, continuously growing number of concurrent players we have right now.

What's the new plan?Instead of a temporary band-aid patch, they are going all-in and building their own dedicated servers. This will fix the issue fundamentally and completely take the heavy load off of Steam's servers.
There is no locked date for this major server migration yet, but they will let us know as soon as it's ready. The team apologized again for the repeated delays, but it's clear they prefer to do things right rather than rushing something that might break again.

📢 Attention Community! Upcoming Urgent Update and Changes in Task Bar Hero 🛠️

The Task Bar Hero developers have released an official statement apologizing for the stability issues the game is currently experiencing due to the massive number of concurrent players and excessive traffic caused by bots.

To fix this, they have scheduled an urgent maintenance with key measures that will temporarily affect the game.
🕒 When will the update take place?
The patch will be deployed on Monday, June 8, 2026, at the following times:

Spain (Mainland): 9:00 AM (CEST)

Mexico City: 1:00 AM (CST)

Argentina / Chile: 4:00 AM (ART/CLT)

Other official times: 12:00 AM PDT / 8:00 AM BST / 4:00 PM KST.

🛠️ What changes and measures will be applied?

New Relay Server: This will be implemented to filter out abnormal requests and bot attacks that are overloading the Steam servers. This should definitively resolve the connection delays.

Temporary Closure of the Steam Market:
Listing new items for sale on the Steam Market will be unavailable starting from the update.
Heads up! You can still buy items that are already listed by other users or cancel your current listings to retrieve your items. The market will return to normal as soon as the bot traffic is controlled.

Adjustments to box acquisition: To prevent items or currency from disappearing due to server lag, the "Minimum Box Acquisition Request Interval" has been temporarily adjusted. The team apologizes for making three quick changes to this without prior notice due to the urgency, but they assure that this interval will return to normal after the patch.
The development team has admitted that the speed of their response has not been the best, but they are working around the clock to fully restore the game. We just need to have a little patience!

Why is the game running so poorly? Basically, its success has exceeded expectations, and on top of that, there are bots overloading the system. This causes actions to take longer to register, and due to the lag, some players feel like they have lost currency or items when opening boxes.
