My favorite author, Glen Cook, is active and writing again even at 82! And he has the next Black Company book out and more on the way soon! I can’t wait! The Black Company series is what made me pursue writing as a hobby and a passion, and I’m inspired by his work every day!

@DudespostingWs Those were the best when I was a kid. Damn that’s so nostalgic

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART Tbh tho I won’t play a game that is so overtuned that it takes the now discontinued 5090 to play comfortably. That sounds so dumb. I’ll stick with my 1990s games thank you haha

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART Boy does that take me back. I learned computers by fixing the one I had at the time that was just like that, and built up to my battle station that I have now. I didn’t really know if that was bad or what to do about it. Ah the days before being constantly tempted by gpu sales…

Show me your art and let's fight the algo

[Sci-Fi Archives @SciFiArchives]

Stunning sci-fi artwork by Pascal Blanché. A lone pilot stranded beneath an alien sky.

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART Woo! Those an absolutely beautiful man! Great stuff! I am continually sad I am not a visual artist haha when I see stuff like this

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART I can’t wait to see what they turn into!

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART Buildings are pretty nice looking too, and that is a huge part of getting the style right on a rts

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@hotcocked That building makes me so happy haha… such efficient use of space! And the style is great. Looks like a building that a ton of GI’s would garrison in RA2 actually!

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART By the way, I really admire your art! I don’t think I say that enough. And the fact that you are making a game is super cool too. I don’t play a lot of rts anymore, which makes me sad, since I was raised on those games, but I absolutely love seeing more come around

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART I’m starting to make videos again. I’m working within my schedule to get a video done for posting tomorrow or Saturday, but I’ve been busy this week 🫠 but it’s fun writing for this stuff again😁

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART I’m working on a video on the weather control device in RA 2! Also a scifi setting with a tentative name Para-Luminal.

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@SyphoticART All these series that I loved. Tiberium and red alert were my absolute favorites though. Westwood were the goats

[Syphotic | Steel Command @SyphoticART]

Westwood my beloved 😢

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@samusmetroid986 Berrus v Samus is comical. I’m a massive Samus advocate but I’m afraid there’s not much for her to do in that matchup

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@kurinjipage Besides, I dislike death battle for their extremely inconsistent rules and exceptions for their battles. Case in point: Ichigo v Naruto. Naruto gets non-canon stuff and Ichigo doesn’t, also they “exaggerate” Ichigo to “make it a fair matchup.” They drip with contempt imo

[Armed With Speculation @TaskEcho]

@kurinjipage There’s really no world that Goku, a character built on struggle and gradual progression, can beat characters whose powers are handwavium based. Those weren’t made with honest comparisons in mind. And that’s why I’m a Goku fan and strongly dislike characters like saitama and sups
