@CareQualityComm In my personal opinion Triage has not been prioritised over years, staff moved from this area when there are short falls elsewhere, triage needs to be included in trust escalation processes when staffing is not adequate. Getting it right from the start is pivotal to good care

Staying in for that length of time for abdominal surgery is not normal, hysterectomy is much less time than that. It’s not something we should know but the Spanish press have the detail.

@doctor_oxford This is not new, it’s been around for years. Women need all the evidence, different women want different things. They need unbiased information and support, be that an epidural, pethidine, aromatherapy or water injections surely it’s an informed choice by women not by a MW or Dr.

@01kjohnston @JamesTitcombe Agree, staffing affects education, the ability to respond to rafts of recommendations, it takes those employed to look at incidents & safety away from their desks to help clinically, it also takes £ that could be used for improvements to pay bank staff. It’s effects are massive
