Make MAXIMUM use of the CVR site

Here are some hacks; for NEW ONLINE REGISTRATION (Self-service)/registration)

1. Do not use iOS devices; self-registration is not compatible with iPhones❌

2. Use Android devices!

Ensure that the Android device you are using is high-version/grade, has free storage space, and a clear CAMERA!

3. When you get to step 5 (Biometrics), you are provided with two options, to download the CVR APP, or continue via the Web.

PLEASE, click on download the INEC CVR app, it automatically takes you to the Play Store, click and download the app and open it, it makes scanning easier⚠️

4. When capturing, ensure you are in a lit environment, and confirm that your Camera light does not reflect/blure the fingers you are scanning!

5. After creating an ONV…and you encounter error messages before or during capture, NO PANIC… Simply close the tab, click on your minimize button, clear off/close the browser, and open it afresh!

Log in again with the same email you used to create your ONV… your information will be saved in “Your Applications” on your dashboard.

Click on My Applications, and you'll see your ONV…. Click on View, and continue from where you stopped!

Just keep repeating this step until it works!

5. After submitting your application, a page pops up with “Application Submitted Successful.” an option appears bellow with “Print your registration slip”, Click on it and download, or Save the application as a PDF on your phone's files.

Go to a Cyber Cafe, and print the application page out, keep it, to pick up your card when ready!

6. If your application refuses to download, or save, simply open the application and take a screenshot of the section that has the;

Applicant Name; Manjul Vic..
Applicant Number; ONV…
Voter Identification Number (VIN); INC…
Date of Completion;
State;
Local Government
Registration Area/Ward;
Polling Unit;

Go to a Cafe and Print this out, when your cards are ready, that's what you'll use to pick up your cards!
