Along with many others, I've found that X has stopped being a place of interesting ideas and respectful discourse. So I'm moving too. @alanamq.bsky.social ... happy to see people there.
Now is the time for our Palestinian activists to step up and speak out against this rife antisemitism in Australia. Regardless of the issues at play, or anyone's fight for justice, hate speech isn't ok, ever. @RandaAFattah#Gaza

@AmandaYWise @RandaAFattah@ABCaustralia Anyone with a public profile and influence who regularly speaks out on this war can also help de-escalate current dangerous tensions, and help. That is an option they may, or may not, take. To invent other inference from my original post is disingenuous.
@AmandaYWise @RandaAFattah@ABCaustralia Amanda, Randa expresses strong opinions on SM regularly, and with due respect, I can too. I'm glad to hear that Palestinian groups are speaking out. I was referring wider issues than the nurses and it was phrased in careful, respectful language.
@AlisonHolland33@RandaAFattah@ABCaustralia We should all speak out on any manifestation of hate. Not just Randa. But Palestinians who are speaking loudly in public forums should also condemn the antisemitic crimes in Australia at the moment, and discourage them. I'm not underplaying the plight of the Palestinians.
Bills tabled! Jacqui Lambie and I are pushing to end the obscene salaries paid to university vice-chancellors and fat cat bureaucrats. We’ll drag them into parliament to interrogate them on why they think they should retain their million dollar salaries. #FatCats#auspol
Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.
I was seriously manhandled but I'm back home... thanks for all support folks.
My intention was to ask tough questions at every opportunity during the news conference which State personnel obviously cut short:
* Was the point of the May 31 announcement to block implementation of the May 24 ICJ order?
* Why do you refuse to recognize the Geneva conventions as applying to Gaza?
* Everyone from Amnesty International to the ICC accuses Israel of extermination and genocide. Why are you not in the Hague?
* Why was your step father Pisar connected to both Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein?
* Miller here pretends not to know about the Hannibal directive - do you know about the Hannibal directive?
* Why do you not even acknowledge Israel’s nuclear weapons?
I have written about each of these subjects and will continue to do so via https://t.co/GnMYgVTIP2
Saw in The Age today that private schools are asking for more government funding. In my area, Aquinas College in Ringwood has pristine new basketball courts, while Ringwood High, a public school, is left with rundown facilities.
The inequality is striking.
Note that this group is representing Catholic Schools. Who benefit from funding. And fees. It's disingenuous to suggest our school funding is in any way equitable, and that public schools aren't suffering from limited capacity and resourcing. @JasonClareMP@pruecar@NSWEducation
Australia’s school system is one of the most equitable by global standards.
