@Omri_Hochman This. The amount of bullying that's been going on all around and the pressure that's been put on artists to "make statements" is unbelievable. ESC fandom + social media = toxic stupidity.
@letscountsmiles I don't know why people are surprised about this. ESC "fans" (not a word I'd use) have totally lost it and are killing a freaking SONG CONTEST. Teya is far from being the only example. These so-called "fans" are massive bullies, spreading hate and threatening artists. Hate it 😫
@Few_Plastic6360@EBU_HQ@RSF_inter FFS - this is a post about an incredible defender of the freedom, independence and pluralism of journalism who had died much too young of cancer - and all you can think of is commenting about ESC? Go write your idiotic comments where it has some context.
Dear @X, ESC season is over for me now, please get all these stupid posts of my feed. Soooo tired of reading #ESC "fans" and their "this should not have qualified", "this should have won", "This was terrible", "Why didn't this do better"… bla bla bla.
@EBU_HQ@Europarl_EN Note to all the #ESC fans - Please step out of your bubble from time to time before posting out of place comments. Eurovision & EBU? Not just a song contest. This was a political debate - you know, before the European elections…
@bernardontp@wiwibloggs Not impressed. You're accredited as press - that kind of implies you should be working. (Of course if you were real journalists, you wouldn't have tickets for the show or be interested in glamour/non glamour).
J'espérais qu'ils allaient privilégier nos villes francophones (i.e. notre histoire #ESC), mais j'ai l'impression qu'on va devoir aller à Zürich…
What a shitty day. New boss is 10 times worse than the previous one. A customer asked to see MY feet (perv!!!) and then I come on here and see that ESC "fans" are still at it. Fuck you all! Also, I'm now only going to follow Junior Eurovision.
As others, I'm now switching off here to get away from all #Eurovision related hate, antisemitism, and fake news. I should be dancing around for my country 🇨🇭Hopefully I'll be able to next year.
@EBU_HQ I hate your lack of clear communication.
@kirim1xer Eurovision is a SONG contest, it's not The Voice or any other singing contest. But yes, Slimane has a great voice and it was an OK song. To be fair, a lot of others also nailed the singing part and had good songs…
@MattESCunited "she stated in the press center" - like she randomly walked into the press center and made a statement to everyone there?? And you just happened to be standing there?
I wish EBU would throw out all the pretend journalists at Eurovision. I'm so sick of all this fan media garbage.
@MattESCunited Seeing that he hit a woman, yes, it was for the best (and I'm looking forward to the footage being released so all this stupid antisemitic garbage can stop)
Incredible how such a weird, and often sad, #Eurovision year can end with my country finally winning after 35 years 🇨🇭😍 It's wonderful and bittersweet at the same time. But honestly, I'm mostly SUPER happy!!!
