🚨Last call for Gabby, out of chances & under kill command. Just 2-y/o, arrived early May whale-eyed & trembling, spent time w/ finder who said she was very gentle & was friendly w/ cats. She has made huge improvements at ACC but still made the list. Timid, sensitive, mellow, housetrained, asks for attn, walks well on a leash, knows basic cues. She is doing her best even though she is very scared. Loves hot dogs.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this…Manny suffered a stroke on Saturday…he went completely blind & lost control of his legs…I kept him comfortable and he ate well all weekend…this morning he didn’t finish his breakfast (unlike him) and he completely lost all mobility….Manny came to me on March 26, 2025 from the Queens ACC pulled by @PoundHoundsResQ & transported by Ray Stanton 💞

He crossed this morning June 8, 2026 at 9:23 am 🌌🌈

He had a great send off with 2️⃣ Hershey’s Milk Chocolate 🍫 bars….

His name at ACC was Arquette 💞💞

🚨 URGENT: 5-MONTH-OLD PUPPY FACING E☠️THANASIA AFTER MINOR BITE INCIDENT

A 5-month-old puppy at the Euless Animal Shelter is at risk of being euthanized following an incident during a school field trip. According to reports, children were allowed to interact with the dogs without direct supervision from Animal Control Officers. The environment became loud and overwhelming, and Zak, still just a baby, reacted out of fear. A minor injury occurred, but thankfully, the child is okay.

Zak has no history of aggression. Both a veterinarian and a professional trainer have stated that his reaction is not unusual for a young, frightened puppy in a chaotic situation. At just five months old, he is still learning and can absolutely thrive with proper training, structure, and care.

This is not a dangerous dog. This is a scared puppy who deserves a chance.

A rescue, Trinity GAP Rescue, has stepped forward and is willing to take Zak, provide training, and give him the future he deserves. We are urging the shelter to release him into their care instead of moving forward with euthanasia.
