What’s a bad habit in your dev/art/code workflow you dropped… and only then saw how much it was silently breaking your game development?

That quiet moment after finishing a game, when everything’s wrapped, but the next idea hasn’t started yet kind of feels peaceful, doesn’t it?
What do you usually do in that in-between space? rest, reflect, or start dreaming up the next world?

Yeah I know these are relatively small number, but this is my first game ever and I hadn’t put much work into marketing, if any, so to see 100 people from all around the world have my game is pretty exciting.

Let’s get monochrome!
Starting a new challenge: one simple art piece a day using just one colour.
The goal? Sharpen my colour theory, master mood with minimal palette, and level up on landscape shapes & structure.
Follow along!

The nice thing about finishing my game is the freedom of doing other projects now.
Here’s me messing around with monochromatic art for the first time .

@sledding_game Well, best of luck! That’s exciting and it looks like you’ve done a very good job at building hype around it so it should do really good!
