Delighted to announce that I’ve passed the UEFA A Licence.
It’s been an intense 12 months but an enjoyable & important learning experience.
Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout, Club, Coaches, Players and @l3savage for your guidance.

As the season comes to a close, so does my time at Argyle. A season of breaking records, taking the club from relegation battles and a highest league finish of 9th the previous 6 seasons, to within a point of the league title this season. Here’s a few of those achievements🧵:
You've coached and/or played at
Tiers 5 and 4 and 'earned the right' to be at Tier 3. Then, you watch a club arrive/gifted a place in your league, who have earned no right to be there.
This is problematic. Too many individuals in football want the outcome, without process.
Interesting updates from today's meeting... Another resounding NO from WNL clubs against PGA teams entering the league. However, WNL clubs will not be afforded the right to actually vote on this which is a concern, with their "views" to be taken ...
@Kingwolf84@FA@FAWNL Institutionalised cooperation is the answer so that WSL clubs feed into WNL clubs (like the Feds example) rather than becoming a league rival and taking a place in the pyramid. This would provide a strategic development partnership where the WSL player gets to play in a high …
Congratulations goes out to our Welsh U19 trio @ammocurtis@evans_casi & Charlotte Salisbury-Williams who had a fantastic 3-2 win for @Cymru U19s over @England this afternoon! 🏴👏
Well done Ammo, Casi, and Charl! A first ever win at U19 level against England!🔴👏

@TomJGarry Where is the evidence that it will raise standards in the FAWNL? PGAs couldn't compete in the cup competition this season. PGAs are not competing for promotion. A licence to play in T3 makes a mockery of the attempts by less well off but equally important clubs trying to earn it.
@TomJGarry Everyone’s entitled to their opinion especially if it’s their idea . You will not alter my mindset on the fact it will have a negative impact on all teams at lower levels . But then I guess it’s what matters most . I repeat nothing wrong with using a structured loan system .
@TomJGarry Nothing 'vital' about this proposal. "Earn the right" to play at Tier 3 or 4 like most players did. Furthermore, some of us "earned the right" to also coach at these levels after years and years of working hard! You're very privileged when you're just "parachuted" into a league!!
The most inspiring story you'll see today 💙
Bluenose, @GrizzlyAdams_78 from The FTD Brothers, on his raising awareness for Frontotemporal Dementia, something which tragically runs in their family.
Purely based on servicing the elite and taking 0 interest in the rest of the pyramid. Players should be put into the right environment on dual reg from 16 whether that’s tier 4/5. Exposure to adult football early. Not many are ready at that age for regular football at tier 3
@TomJGarry The only way to improve the chances of British born players is to cap the amount of foreign players each team can have in every match day squad.
@TomJGarry You don’t get to fundamentally break & bypass the pyramid just because the pga system is failing , you earn the right to play in it, you want tier 3 football EARN IT like everyone else has too, you want more football drop the badge hunting and go play
how about encouraging/promoting wsl teams to simply trust and develop their players more actively in tier 3 and below? just ask, who is this truly benefiting?
