Organized in 1978 in the community of Hickory Tavern, we are an all volunteer fire dept that serves a rural community within Laurens county South Carolina.

Laurens County swiftwater team heads out in the morning to report in for #Dorian tasking orders. Our highly trained team will operate in high impact areas of S.C. assisting with evacuations and other emergencies. @TavernFire

@TavernFire responded to a commercial working structure fire today. Engine 4 laid in from the hydrant and crews advanced hose lines inside. Minimal damage was reported and power restored back to the facility a short time later.
