I was once in a barbershop where the barbers and hairdressers were talking about a guy who had come back to Zimbabwe from the UK for the holidays and was staying in a hotel. The guy didn’t want to stay at the family house in one of the ghettos. Do you think he was wrong for staying at a hotel?
I’m in the process of drafting the Zwitter twar Constitution. We need to have ground rules and terms of reference for twars.
Kindly suggest what you want to be contained in the Constitution.
I’m suggesting a clause that says whoever uses laughing emojis in a twar anenge adyiwa.
Most ladies want a man like Mudiwa, and honestly, that’s understandable. If we look at it from a financial perspective, women want a man who can provide, support his family, and build a comfortable life. There’s nothing wrong with that.
But when we look at it from a man’s perspective, Mudiwa represents everything I personally consider weak in a man. Having money doesn’t automatically make you a man.. sometimes, it just makes you a well funded embarrassment. You can have money, expensive clothes, and a luxurious lifestyle, yet still lack the character, backbone, and masculine qualities that earn a man respect.
Some men have mastered the art of looking successful while completely missing the substance of manhood. They think having money and attracting women is enough, but a man is more than his bank balance, designer outfits, and social media image. If your entire identity revolves around impressing people, you might be rich in money but bankrupt in character.
And that’s where I draw the line. A man who has to be admired by women to feel important, who prioritises appearances over character, and who has no backbone is not someone I would look up to as a man. He might be every woman’s dream on paper, but that doesn’t automatically make him a man other men should respect.
Of course, I can’t speak for his girlfriend or pretend to know what happens in their private life. But one thing is certain.. Her life with him is miserable.
Money can make you attractive to women without making you admirable to men. Stop confusing financial success with masculinity. They are not the same thing, and some men need to hear that reality without sugar-coating it.

Zimbabwe’s platinum industry generates billions, yet mining communities say they see little of the wealth.
Residents face poor roads, inadequate schools and limited access to clean water and basic services.
