Though I’ve gone through rough patches with parts of my family, I continue to seek a relationship with them because I am one of the few trusted sources they have for exposure to new ideas. And I’m out for durable progress, not vanity.
I think this Tweet from perfectly encapsulates why I spend very little time on Twitter: what is the end goal here? Is the quoted Tweet addressing racial injustice in any way whatsoever? Nope. It’s just a sloppy, incurious, bullying vanity Tweet. 🙃.
@c_mckinley I also put in a lot of one on one time with those change-advocating students to facilitate their path into future leadership positions. Rec letters, app editing, advice sessions, and interview coaching so they wouldn’t have to rely on the old guard for that.
For those of your looking for high quality masks, I CANNOT recommend @projectn95. Masks ordered Dec 23, allegedly “shipped” Dec 30. They still haven’t reached the carrier, let alone me. Customer service contacted on Jan 6, still no official response. But they did take my $$.
