@miskatonicfox@Soycrates Same thing happened with PsiOps getting a Japanese release. Shinkiro of Capcom and SNK notoriety did the new cover and its a big improvement.
@artofallan@zenithfl4re Thanks for the tip! I primarily work in Illustrator/PS and it does have access to those as well. I love your art and I'm infatuated with Marathon! I look forward to more of your posts.
@MejeAnimation@iwamoto_tatsuro Yeah but it's not his house to fix up or even determine it needs fixing. He changed the paint on the walls for someone else and said "Didn't I do it better?".
@MonnetEugene@anishmoonka The engineers get paid well but that's about it. Naughty Dog willingly pays below industry averages for most positions. Also unfortunately, most of the team are "Contractors", loophole temp hires that have all the same responsibilities but get low pay and no royalties.
@dipdabs710@xXt3h_m00kzXx You're thinking of aim assist friction which is not in this game on KBM. This aim assist wont affect your controls at all if you're on KBM.
@Krerart "Stellar Blade director and CEO of Shift Up Hyung-tae Kim has stated that without the use of AI, developers in smaller nations will struggle to keep up with studios in places like the U.S. and China."

@MangaNoriba In the US, almost no illustrators are hired. Only concept designers. Of those designers, only people with identical, very realistic styles are hired. Almost no US game company uses illustrators with distinct art styles. If they did, you couldnt fire and replace them at will.
@MadamSavvy Unfortunately this is AAA standard practice. Likely the concepts were made in house and then outsourced on the cheap for at least first pass on the sculpts. In-house artists probably cleaned up the last 5% after getting it back from outsource. And yes it does make for generic art
