The government are increasing the National Living Wage to £12.71 an hour from April, giving full-time workers £900 more a year.

Supporting the self-employed by cutting National Insurance Contributions from April 2024.
That’s a tax cut of £350 for the average self-employed person earning £28,200 a year.

The National Living Wage is set to rise to £11.44 from April 2024.
The new rate will also be extended to 21 & 22 year olds for the first time.
This is a pay boost to millions, worth over £1,800 a year for a full time worker.
From April 2023 the basic rate of Income Tax will be cut from 20p to 19p, helping working families keep more of their hard-earned cash.
We will also abolish the 45p additional rate completely to attract global talent and incentivise enterprise.
The planned Corporation Tax increase to 25% has been cancelled.
The rate will stay at 19%, the lowest in the G20. This will support business investment and help economic growth.
From 6th November the government is cutting National Insurance by 1.25 percentage points and cancelling the Health & Social Care Levy.
This will:
