With our 1+ subscribed member, we are fighting to expose wasteful tax spending. We are NOT the Taxpayers' Union because we would never take taxpayers money.
Totally inappropriate for the government-backed Taxpayers Union to have funded or provided these signs. They should've been focused on achieving fiscal responsibility needed to pay back more than $60000 in hard earned kiwi tax dollars that they took.
The team has loved driving past these banners up and down the South Island. This supporter found a prime position: double-sided on the road into a Blenheim, at the end of a rainbow 🌈
Another classic Wellington elite talk fest hosted by the taxpayer funded Taxpayers' Union. When are we going to see some actual return on the hard earned tax money that went into this organisation?
Another great turnout, this time in Timaru.
While some Mayors have remained quiet in the face of the Three Waters asset grab, Nigel Bowen has lead the charge to protect local control.
Seems inappropriate for a taxpayer-organisation to be so heavily politically aligned. And what would hardworking kiwi mums and dads say if they knew how many of their tax dollars (more than $60000!) were being blown on a self-indulgent road trip for some Wellington elites?
I wonder how the hard-working taxpayers of Rolleston would feel about the more than $60000 of their tax dollars (that still haven't been fully paid back!) funding the vanity project of some Wellington elite?
In Rolleston we spoke to Nicola Grigg MP who says Selwyn ratepayers are furious, having just invested millions in new water assets that under Three Waters will be removed from local control.

The taxpayer backed Taxpayers Union are living it large while squeezed middle New Zealanders are doing it tough. It's time these Wellington elites got off their luges and joined the real world.
Each OIA from the taxpayer funded Taxpayers Union costs hardworking kiwi taxpayers in the area of $1000-2000. The total cost to date is unknown but is surely well into seven or eight figures and counting.
The government-funded Taxpayers Union out on their little site-seeing tour, having literally taken money from the pockets of hardworking kiwi mums and dads and still not paid it back. Makes you wonder if they've ever done an honest days work in their life.
I wonder what true blue kiwi taxpayers would think about their tax dollars going towards the Taxpayers Union's little junket down to Queenstown while they're hard at work earning an honest living.
The government funded Taxpayers Union spent $103,571 of hard earned taxpayer dollars on OIAs to Callaghan Innovation alone in 2017.
That's $2600 per request 😳
The taxpayer-funded Taxpayers' Union spent $61,364 of hard earned Hamilton ratepayers dollars on 58 OIAs to Hamilton council over a couple of years.
That's $1100 per OIA 😳
Great to see enterprising private citizens making quality content like this. Unlike the government funded Taxpayers Union who take money out of the pockets of squeezed middle New Zealanders for their little junkets around the country.
Not content with taking more than $60000 in taxpayer funding (which they still haven't paid back in full!), the government-backed Taxpayers Union are sucking up Jacinda's tax cuts on RUC and petrol with their little jaunt around the country.
Good morning all 🌞 Beautiful crisp Canterbury day for day 2 of the #Stop3Waters Roadshow 🚌🚩
Heading to Rolleston now then Ashburton to talk to locals about the Three Waters threat to local control, affordability, and accountability of 💧💧💧 assets.
"Quality" films like this are the kind of frivolous art project that the taxpayer funded Taxpayers Union is using your hard earned kiwi tax dollars to produce.
P.S. does anyone think it's inappropriate for our tax dollars to be funding such politically biased "art"??
A flashy event hosted by a taxpayer-funded organisation like this is just wasting hard earned kiwi tax dollars. Totally inappropriate! We must put an end to this.
Thank you to everyone who joined the launch of our nation-wide Stop Three Waters roadshow in Christchurch today!
Footage of the event is here: https://t.co/yTmfo9LLQw
Heavily manufactured poll results are of no use to the public! This is how the taxpayer-funded Taxpayers' Union are choosing to spend your hard earned tax dollars.
