To me, speaking like a leader means being confident in what you are saying, not being afraid to speak in front of others, and having the capability to answer any questions that may be asked. Speaking like a leader means showing strength. #SPCH100

Expert testimony would be someone who studies social media and has the technologies to count all the users. A peer testimony would be someone who participated and social media and is able to take an educated guess on the amount of users. #SPCH100

The statistic stated that there are over 3.4 billion active social media users. While that number is astonishing, I think I it is very representative considering how important social media has become in our society. Social media is now used for work, not just for fun. #SPCH100

@Mrsjonis1 I think this is a good topic because most people have experienced a field trip throughout their schooling. An attention getter you could use is a story about how you’ve seen field trips impact children’s lives. I know it’s one of most exciting events of the school year. #SPCH100

Deciding on a topic has not been easy for me. I am thinking about doing a speech over the meanings/traditions behind weddings. I think the organization pattern I will use is topical. #SPCH100

The best opening to a speech that have heard was one that allowed the audience to picture exactly what the speaker is talking about. It was very descriptive. Another type of opener that I like is opening with shocking facts, I begin thinking about the topic in detail #SPCH100

I think that by outlining our speech it helps us to plan out what exactly we want to say. It also helps to form a smooth way of transitioning between ideas. For me personally, it makes me more prepared for the speech I am about to give. #SPCH100

I think that I will most likely do my speech on an event or process. But I am not entirely certain yet. I may plan out two and then go with whichever I feel more comfortable with. #SPCH100
