@samarth10703 @MAstronomers Mars used to have plate motion before it’s core cooled. Though Olympus mons was formed by a hot spot like the emperor/ Hawaiian island chain so no collision of plates. Theory as to why it got so huge is that it formed after plate motion stopped so it kept building up.
