This New York Times piece is worth your time. Here’s what is happening, as simply as I can put it.

Back in January, Trump sued the IRS, an agency he controls, demanding $10 billion over the leak of his tax returns a number of years ago.

IRS lawyers did their jobs. They wrote a memo laying out the defenses that could beat the suit, including the fact that Trump filed too late. His own lawyer was in court when the leaker pleaded guilty in October 2023, more than two years before Trump sued.

The Justice Department never showed up to court. Never argued back. Never used the defenses sitting on their desk.

The judge got suspicious and ordered both sides to explain whether they were actually opposing each other or just colluding. The day before that brief was due, Trump dropped the suit.

Same day, his Justice Department announced a $1.776 billion taxpayer-funded “anti-weaponization fund.” 

Trump gets a formal apology. The IRS agrees to drop any audits of him and his family, even though a 2024 Times report found a loss in an ongoing audit could cost him over $100 million.

The acting Attorney General, Trump’s former criminal defense attorney, picks the five commissioners who decide who gets paid. Trump can fire any of them. Proud Boys and Oath Keepers are not ruled out.

This is the most corrupt thing I’ve ever seen from an American president.

🚨BREAKING: ICE agents just kidnapped 2 high school students as they waited for their school bus.

Max is 15. Israel is 18. They were standing outside their home in Mississippi, waiting for the bus like any normal morning, when unmarked cars pulled up, surrounded them, and agents zip-tied them in front of their family and classmates.

These kids were in the U.S. on student visas. Their host family had legal guardianship paperwork signed by a judge…

and ICE agents shrugged and said it “meant nothing.”

That’s where we are… paperwork signed by a judge means nothing, and a bureaucratic technicality is enough to justify armed agents grabbing unaccompanied TEENAGERS off the street.

Because that’s what this comes down to. A school transfer. Somewhere in that process, their visa status changed without them knowing, without their guardians being notified, and without any chance to fix it.

In any system that respects due process, you get a notice, you get time to respond, you get a chance to correct the issue.

This administration skipped all of that and went straight to detention.

And then they separated them.

A 15-year-old child taken away from his legal guardians, moved out of state, and for days, his family didn’t even know where he was.

So, let’s be honest about what this administration is doing…

They are creating a system where your legal status can disappear without warning, where you can be detained before you even know there’s a problem, and where families can be separated instantly with no transparency, and no accountability.

That is a direct erosion of due process, and it should alarm anyone who understands what constitutional protections are supposed to mean.

Mark Cuban just saved baby Stella’s life.

Stella was diagnosed with aggressive cancer at just four months old. Her mother posted a TikTok video showing her speaking with the insurance company, which was denying a medical lift that could have saved Stella’s life. The lift would have transported her from Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Ohio for a T-cell transfusion that is only available at that facility.

The insurance company claimed Stella was well enough to travel by road—even though both her parents and doctors said she was not. In fact, doctors refused to discharge her from the hospital due to her failing liver.

Her mother posted the video begging for help—either a private plane or assistance securing a medical lift.

The video caught the attention of billionaire Mark Cuban, who immediately stepped in and funded the entire transport, along with everything needed to get Stella to Cincinnati.

Stella was scheduled for her T-cell transfusion two days ago. As soon as I have an update, I will provide one. And no, you do not hate insurance companies enough.

🚨 Ohio is quietly surrendering its water to AI.
Not tomorrow. Right now.

Central Ohio alone has 65+ new data centers planned. Each one can guzzle up to 5 million gallons per day just to cool the servers.

Google’s New Albany facility? Already sucking down 348,000 gallons daily. One facility.

We get 40 inches of rain a year. Ohio should be water-rich. Instead, we’re pumping groundwater faster than it can recharge. Wells are dropping. Aquifers are thinning.

By 2050, industrial water demand is projected to explode 120%. That’s your drinking water, farmers’ irrigation, and every river, stream, and wetland in a losing battle against server farms.

This isn’t sustainable. This isn’t progress. This is theft from our children’s future.

That’s why Ohioans are fighting back: a citizen-led effort to amend the Ohio Constitution to ban large-scale data centers that threaten our water.

Ballot language is being reviewed now. Petitions will hit every county soon.

Most of these companies hide their real water usage behind NDAs. They don’t want you to know they’re drinking your future.

AI doesn’t run on electricity alone.

It runs on your water.

Arizona already learned this lesson the hard way.

Ohio doesn’t have to.

We will not sacrifice our water, our land, and our grandchildren’s inheritance so tech billionaires can train bigger models.
