🔥WATCH: “Your silence is deafening… what you permit, you promote.”

@TaylorLyonsMSJ rips @hamcoschools for letting Moms for Liberty hold (obviously partisan) forums in schools, despite bullying educators and wanting to "get kids out of public schools
We know your hearts are heavy that this election is so close. But you, like us, are filled with HOPE of what’s possible.
We’ll never give up that unending Hope that we can change the world. And tomorrow we will!! 💙🗳️🥹
We took a social break, but we’re back! And we’re still reeling from the joy and excitement on the faces of hundreds of area kids at The Magic of Literacy!
Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible! 💙📚🔮
Our hearts are broken after seeing the devastation from Hurricane Helene. Our Appalachian neighbors need our help.❤️🩹⛰️
Here is a spreadsheet from Appalachians 4 Appalachia with many opportunities to help (click the last tab titled HOW TO HELP):

The artists in our community are incredible! We almost wish that we were kids so that we could attend this event. Instead, we get to make the magic happen!😅🔮📚
We are the Moms for Literacy!
It’s #BannedBooksWeek and at MSJ we know it's more important than ever to read, discuss, purchase, and borrow banned books.
According to a PEN America report-
📖 The vast majority of school book bans occurred in FL, with 3,135 bans across 11 of the state's school districts.
The same folks who told concerned parents school shootings are a ‘fact of life’ are wringing their hands when the threat of violence is aimed their direction.
We don’t want ANY of it. Not at private citizens, politicians (even those we loathe). And especially not our kids.😖❤️🩹
Huge THANKS to @penguinrandom for this beautiful donation of books for our upcoming Magic of Literacy!
We know that representation matters and all kids deserve to see themselves in the pages they read 🔮📚
Have some great books laying around, have $10 to spare, want to come dressed as your favorite literary character and volunteer?! We need help to make this magical event happen. A little goes a long way!
While some here fight to ban books we want to give them!🔮📚
We are gearing up for our beloved event Magic of Literacy!
Hundreds of area kids attending this FREE event will discover new and inclusive books, readings, games, performances, and a free new book to take home! 🔮📚
We need YOUR help!🙏

Told our 11yr old he could tag his new ‘used’ middle school laptop however he wanted and he proudly presented this.
He is ALL boy-tennis player, gamer, fart jokes and wild. He is also kind, loving, soft, introspective and silly. Boys cry when they need to too. Let them feel.💙
Last night was for the parents and the great hope that one day our kids will look at us with the same pride and unwavering love we feel for them. That’s it, that’s the goal. ♥️
Y’all We’ve taken a few hours to process and here’s the thing. We hate gun violence. We hate it even when it’s directed at presidential candidates who have fanned the flames of violence at every possible turn.
Y’all, we don’t frequent this platform much anymore- our hearts just aren’t in it.
But white supremacists marched down the streets of our state capital on this same weekend that so many are still celebrating the Fourth of July. And who made them feel right at home?
We hope this is a day of relaxation and celebration for our Black community.
We hope this is a day of deep reflection and education for everyone else. #Juneteenth 🖤💚❤️
