@burnsivxx@Senators@CdnTireCtr If you’re a Sens fan then you likely watched more regular season games than I did. In the playoffs he had trouble finding the scoresheet, but he was still that wrecking ball. I was hoping they could make a deep run and all would be patched up in Sens nation.
@fyteworld@Senators@CdnTireCtr This is true, but furthers the point that Brady never took his disdain public. He kept it lowkey and the deal got done. The Sens turning around public like this is full blown attack mode. I can’t imagine that helps attract free agents in the future.
@rossbelkin@Senators@CdnTireCtr I’ll give in to this one. I still think his play wasn’t reflected in that. We can both be correct in our own instances. However, for a franchise to come out guns blazing like this… sheesh. Tell me, what player wants to go to Ottawa now..?
@burnsivxx@Senators@CdnTireCtr Everyone hits ups and downs, but to tell me he wasn’t trying… ludicrous. For how he had been treated since Four Nations, he had every reason to not give his all and he still did.
@rossbelkin@Senators@CdnTireCtr You’re telling me that you believe he wasn’t leaving it all on the table every game that he played? I’m talking about his play night in and night out. Not a Sunday afternoon conversation with teammates four years ago.
@Senators@CdnTireCtr Maybe put more focus and effort on putting together a better team around your stars and they won’t want to leave. Or maybe don’t disown players from your team simply for representing their countries in international play.
@Senators@CdnTireCtr Talk about salty. How does a player who gave his all for the franchise each season he was there get turned into such a villain by not only the fans but the organization itself when he decides to go somewhere else to try for more success..?
"Even though I was on SportsCenter for 34 years, I may believe someone is watching me for the very first time and I have to prove, to them, that I belong."
@lindacohn on the key to 34 years of excellence at ESPN 👏
Rod sneakily built in a 35 pound cinderblock lift into the Canes offseason workouts, called it “Blue Collar Presses”, and the boys never thought anything of it…
Turns out he was having them practice lifting the Cup all season long 🤯🔥

@BigBucksNFT11 Looks real bad at this angle, but from the other angle it looks more like he got pushed and tripped over his feet at the same time and didn’t come close to his leg. What do you think?
