Must read from Daniel Levy & @zahahassan:
The outside world must walk Israel back from the abyss. It cannot be part of the choir of incitement

This theological “we are at war w/evil” stuff is beginning to have a distinct whiff of 2002. Putin’s Russia is malign; autocracies can be aggressive. But this essay is full of straw men + oversimplified claims—and offers a dangerous worldview 🧵

@drewvaccaro Can I suggest the 2002 film Juwanna Mann? It’s in the cannon with White Chicks but some would argue it has stood up better to the test of time
@ChuckieVicente Agree with the premise here, but the model of the acceptability of shorts is definitely a piecewise function. They’re acceptable down to just above the knee and then start becoming acceptable again around mid calf (swag look)
Fascinating piece by @ezraklein in the @nytimes. Among the wide-ranging discussion is a mention of a silver lining: the world is on track for around 3C warming compared to the 4 to 5C that seemed likely a decade ago. Unfortunately, some caveats are needed: https://t.co/kRGCcjFdU4
Has anyone considered that @KingJames may be an extra terrestrial and that @WindhorstESPN , rather than being a separate entity, is actually alternative form he takes on—essentially the alien equivalent of a burner account?
So earlier today, in a thread about why it's great that Eleven Madison Park is going plant-based, I said being vegan comes at a cost in the food you eat.
That made some people I like mad, but I think it's important, and I want to defend it.

I love this. It'll be so powerful for a restaurant like Eleven Madison Park to show what they can do with plants. And it's a constraint that'll lead to such wild creativity, too. https://t.co/kiRKxBBdGI
