Recently, Taylor Power welcomed students from the Electro-Mechanical and Diesel Technology programs within the Hinds Community College Workforce Division.

The visit began with an instructional lecture led by Stephanie Williams, HR Generalist, who introduced students to the various career opportunities available at Taylor Power.

Following the lecture, students participated in additional training led by Kelly Johnson, R&D/Technical Support Manager. The visit concluded with a tour of Taylor Power’s manufacturing facility.

We value our continued partnership with @HindsCC and all higher education institutions across Mississippi.

Exactly 20 years ago, Kelly Johnson and Robby Rutland walked through the doors of Taylor Power for the first time. Both had just completed the Diesel Equipment Technology program at Hinds Community College. They started their journeys at the same time, bringing fresh energy, curiosity, and a drive to make an impact in the generator industry. Needless to say, they accomplished that and much more.

Fast-forward to today, and these two industry powerhouses have come full circle. Not only are they two of our most experienced generator experts, but they are now working side by side in our Technical Support and R&D Department!

Congratulations to Kelly and Robby on 20 impressive years of service at Taylor Power Systems!

Recently, our wonderful employees, Cathryn Keith, Stephanie Williams, and Becky Joles, attended the 2026 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Central Mississippi Kickoff Luncheon. The event featured several speakers who spoke about awareness, survivorship, healthcare, and other topics important to the cause. This event is one of many that build support for next month's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 24th.

In October, the Taylor offices go pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. This includes raising money to support this amazing cause. We also encourage participation in the walk, including our team called Pink Phoenix.

We hope to see everyone sport their pink next month and support Breast Cancer Awareness!

This Taylor Power Systems standby generator provides dependable emergency power for a laboratory. Research labs and clinics need a standby generator to keep power running for temperature-controlled storage, critical equipment, and patient safety.

For example, a major power loss can destroy years of expensive research or valuable medical inventory. Without temperature control, vaccines, blood, and other samples can spoil.

Don't wait for an outage to affect your business - call us today at 601-932-5674 for a quote.
