@JessickaZombie Surviving VB is like a rite of passage for anyone who plans to develop on an MS platform. It was designed to be easy for non-developers to use and because a lot of non-developers use it in places they shouldn't, 'actual' programmers get lots of paid work to do.

@GFRCBT @hfxtraffic The intent of 111A(1) is to clarify right-of-way, keep traffic moving smoothly, and discourage overly aggressive drivers from forcing other vehicles into the ditch (something that was enough of a problem, there needed to be a law)

@KMD60 @hfxtraffic This on is on the books with the intent to keep traffic moving. Yielding enough space for a car to merge at the end of the lane keeps both lanes moving smoothly. It's also a way of legislating aggressive drivers to not force other traffic into the ditch.
