How to converse in Urdu (part 1):
Acha. (I see).

Acha hai. (It’s good).

Aaaaaacha? (You shady).

Ramadan shouldn’t come after 11 months of messing up. It should set the tone for the next 11 months.
We must find our potential in this month of how much better we can be and do for Allah and stick to it. Go into Ramadan changed, and come out of it solidified and renewed.
I recently found my notebook from 10 years ago when I first started studying sacred knowledge with Dr. @tamaralgray right before she founded @Rabata_Org. This is the organization that has helped me step in and step forward and now step up. Honored and humbled to be of service.

There’s
FOMO: fear of missing out
JOMO: joy of missing out
However, I like to think
GOMO: ‘God opted me out.’
He knows what’s best for me anyway. So, trust God. You are where you’re supposed to be, and where He wants you to be.
Someone asked why read Quran if she doesn’t understand it.
Allah said to read. Read in His Name even before He told us to pray or fast.
It’ll bring success in both worlds whether we understand it or not.
One word we can read is ‘الله’. And that’s what we want: to know Allah.
My beloved mother Farida Syed returned to her Lord last Jumuah on Arafat surrounded by family, many of whom were fasting. We buried her on Eid day, celebrating her life & death. She was a quiet woman of Qurān, shukr & sabr.
You don’t need to be known by all to be known by Allah.
Hold on to this better version of you. We may be sad that Ramadan is leaving us, but in actuality…we’re sad about losing who we have become. Don’t think of it as the end of Ramadan, but the beginning of living our potential.

As we enter Ramadan, think of which habits you’d like to form in these 30 days. Yes, increase in fasting, prayer & charity. But what is 1 good deed you’d like to add for Allah & 1 bad deed you’d like to remove for Him? Implement them this month to continue after. Intend to grow.
If you are going to take a screenshot of someone’s tweet, make sure that you don’t cut off the author’s name and picture before sharing that individual’s content/words/quote/creative property on other platforms without giving him/her credit. That’s wrong.
