@MTA Currently on the phone with NYC transit card and they are telling me my card was charged and the payment went through so they do not understand why MTA is not allowing me to use Tap to Go @MTA

Why is the @MTA continually allowed to steal money from people? Just got off the phone with them bc my transit card isn’t working and they tell me I need to link a personal credit or debit card to an OMNY account online instead of just taking the balance from my transit card.

@MTA Plus they are telling me I need to have my employer send me a new transit card if I don’t want to use OMNY online service given they won’t just deduct the charge from my current transit card because of an issue on their end. It’s such unnecessary hurdles to pay to use the MTA
