Destruction, death, evil and co are all an absence, not a direct involvement of God, but ofcus some blamed God for being absent but God doesn't force his will on man. God bless you

God is light, when light is not there, what's left? Darkness

In the case of Noah, Noah spent years preaching to the people so many years, any man who entered that Ark will be saved, that's the love of God.

@chukaobi Most stories in the old testament uses a figure of speech called Metonymy where a character is blamed for the actions of another.
In the old, Devil acted, Angels acted, man Acted, God Acted but everything was called God. Some destruction came upon man by man, but God was blamed

@chukaobi Because if God is in a place destruction can't happen, so God asked them to put a blood on their door post, do you know that if Pharoah had put the blood, nothing will happen to him. But again God doesn't force man

@chukaobi The destruction that came upon them was the absence of God, and to prove that God does not destroy, knowing what will happen provided a solution ahead of time, but man rejected and he doesn't force man.

Same thing with Egypt, God proffered a solution to keep him in the scene
