@MarcNixon24 Do your homework and understand history. While I'm not a separatist I would expect a Premier in the West to be better informed. Ignorance of our grievances and ambivalence of the two big provinces is aggravating. We are seeking fairness - against a hostile federal government.
If you are driving a Range Rover in the Shuswap and pick up an intact suitcase on the roadside, and if you are a good Samaritan - why wouldn't you attempt to return it to the rightful owner?
Once a star candidate, Nenshi is losing lustre, Alberta poll suggests. Can the NDP leader recover?

@MarcNixon24 Wow - will make their current caucus of 6 look large! This marks the demise of the NDP as they are completely irrelevant now. Too bad for the Furries they won't have a party any longer.
@globeandmail If a sales tax is the solution why are all the other provinces with a sales tax in debt. Give politicians another money tap and they will never turn it off.
@ToewsWenda Did you fall on your head again or have you just been hanging out with Lewis, Nenshi and the Furries. There's a bunch of leaders - sorry losers.
Thoughtful piece. The numbers say separation could fail, but the discontent is real. Young Albertans especially feel unheard economically and culturally. That should worry Ottawa more than the referendum itself. Fix representation, competitiveness, and respect for Albertaโs role, or the frustration will keep growing, even if independence doesn't happen this time around.

@RiseOfAlberta No - risks far outweigh benefits. We have greviences and the rest of the country should wake up. Feds need to stop attacking us and realize what they get from Alberta. If not I change my vote to Yes.
