Aotearoa composer Douglas Lilburn’s (1915-2001) complex relationship with artist Rita Angus was a key one in his life, their chosen art forms weaving in and out of their story.
Composer Dr Eve de Castro-Robinson will discuss the Lilburn-Angus relationship and the composer’s Four Canzonas, which will be performed by the Schevinki string quartet during the talk.
