Greens applaud the collective action taken by Climate Justice Taranaki to take climate change to the Waitangi Tribunal for a kaupapa inquiry. And we stand by their claim that the Crown is breaching Te Tiriti o Waitangi failing to protect Te Iwi Māori from climate change impacts.

Great korero on @NZMorningReport with Ngaiwi Apanui about the benefits of te reo in the public service and more widely across Aotearoa. Since taking the role as CE of Maori Lang Commission a few tears ago, pple speaking te reo fairly well has doubled.

Fair Pay Agreements backs those that tirelessly teach our mokopuna, keep our workplaces clean and safe, stock the supermarket shelves, and get us around on the bus. Removing them will disproportionally impact young people, women, Māori and Pasifika workers. Shame on this Govt.
