The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Task Force conducted its first meeting on Tuesday, marking the initial step forward in Kentucky’s approach to AI integration in government and business. The task force heard from Ryan Harkins of Microsoft and Doug Robinson from @NASCIO on the usage of AI in both private and public sectors.

Establishing this task force is a crucial step for Kentucky. By examining the best practices from other states and evaluating our own systems, we aim to harness the potential of AI to improve government operations while safeguarding consumer interests. I look forward to taking a deep dive into this issue during the interim.
