James Van Der Beek died. And a piece of my childhood died right along with him. I absolutely hate this for his wife & kids who you can see he loved so very much. He was funny, but also kind and seemed to live a life that was full of joy in the small moments and full of grace.

Dawson's Creek was the very first show I ever watched from start to finish in real time. It had such a choke hold upon my teenage life.
