During writing, we made a circle map of all the things we know about Winter. Then, we watched @AnnieAndMoby to see what else we could add! I had to make my circle map bigger because they were doing so well!❄️☃️
As we wrap up measurement, 2nd grade is doing a spring #pbl.
We purchased supplies after making a budget, planned and created a garden, and estimated length!
Tomorrow we will measure lengths and widths then solve word problems!
This is the PERFECT 💯 way to get your students up and moving safely! 🤩
The app "Bit Breaker" may look vintage, but all students will be jumping for joy while playing this highly addictive game! 🎮

My second and third graders took the state standardized spelling test today... Watch the Video below⬇️
The best part was my students realizing the last word I spelt was April Fools.🗣
There is always room for a little fun activity!😅
2nd grade is reviewing previous standards by completing an Unlock Challenge. Students love having “detours” after they complete each challenge!
Hearing & seeing these funny detours definitely brighten my day!
We are wrapping up our 3rd grade science unit on bones!📚
So far we have:
•Read The Magic School Bus: The Search for the Missing Bones
•Built a Human Skeleton
•Dissected Owl Pellets to find vole bones

I am one lucky student teacher!
••
Along with my 3rd grade take-over, sometimes I get to teach my favorite 2nd graders. 🙌🏼
••
I love seeing the small differences within the two grade levels standards!
Today we used M&Ms to model fractions as items in a group.
I love how the hands on activities from #MagicOfMath perfectly compliment any math curriculum!
Great lesson @Teach_MsBarker
What are some educational tools that I can complete PD on? I love the self-paced versions!
I have really enjoyed the edPuzzle trainings and earning those badges. #askeducators#education#edtech
Planning for https://t.co/2cnB6XB60z.1 next week!
I'm using this "Identifying Fractions in a Word Problem" presentation as a quick formative assessment.
To increase student engagement, we will be using whiteboards to have a showdown.
When I started my first official week of student teaching, I introduced our new @ClassDojo store.
To kickstart earning points, I placed our class goal at 200 points & let the students vote on their reward.
Needless to say, my class is awesome & received their reward!🎉🍦
