Multilingual Learners (MLLs) are at high risk for language fossilization. To learn a second language properly, practice speaking with immediate corrective feedback for pronunciation, grammar, and syntax is essential.

My middle school has 1/7 students in special ed, 60% are low income, and 43% are multilingual language learners (MLLs). My elementary has 1/10 students in sped, 66% are low income, and 47% are MLLs. These Title I schools with a clear need keep me on my toes. #teachforspeech
