Love it when we can use the flexibility of @WALKTHRUs_5 to make bespoke resources for schools - here's a PD booklet for the Savannah Trust schools in NW Ghana.
I know Ben no longer uses Twitter anymore, but this is an absolute must read when it comes to what is happening in many schools.
There is an SEND crisis in schools, but not in the way many people think

AI can never be responsible for a human; it has no duty of care; is not accountable for the consequences of any interactions, successes, failures or social and emotional responses. AI does not care about you.
This is why human learning, teaching, schooling must and will always prevail.
Just reading the EEF Inclusive teaching guide - and there's so much overlap with what's included here.
Love the emphasis on universal approaches: "What do we do every day that is especially important for pupils with additional needs?"
Inclusion right here. Spend a day watching lessons anywhere you will see students at the margins falling through the holes in everyday routine pedagogy. It can be fixed.
Our next iteration of our curriculum work, @MccreaEmma Maths in Action book @WALKTHRUs_5@teacherhead shows the journey (superb book by the way if you’ve not read it!). @EHarveyMaths knows his stuff, a great person to connect with if you’re interested in writing booklets.

It was a busy day here yesterday at Educakers HQ; Cass at the HT conference with @schoolsallexcel ; our EYFS and KS1 leads @KarinaKenning & @MissBunyan1 leading our 'Rethinking KS1' training for practitioners in the South East; and I had a great time joining @LisaWorgan for the Teaching WalkThrus online network meeting (even though I was embarrassingly late)!
It was interesting to think about ADAPT as a framework when using the Walkthrus. As a school, we've worked hard on consistency of routines and techniques and use the Walkthrus to do that and align people's understanding. ADAPT, allows for some tweaks and changes. We've managed to maintain consistency as a school, whilst still adapting the Walkthrus' techniques for the phases, ages and the stages of children, we teach. We've done this through staff meetings, where the steps of techniques have been agreed and written down for everyone to refer back to.
We're looking forward to doing more work with the Walkthrus clusters next year as part of our SDP.
