@PatsKam My precious son passed away unexpectedly at age 24. What gives me peace and hope is knowing he had a heart for the Lord and Jesus was his risen Savior!
@annamlulis My heart breaks for this family. We lost our son a year and a half ago. Our daughter is still struggling to find a way to live without not only her best friend but her hero as well.
@ErikReed Thank you so much for this post. We lost our precious son a year ago and we feel the void.
The loving faithful nature of Jesus sustain me and help me through the toughest days.
@atensnut Oh gosh, this makes me think of my son who would pace waiting outside of the kitchen for dinner to be ready. He knew he stepped foot inside. He’d have a chore.
@redwood_ryan_a Enjoy every moment! Some days will be hard, you’ll fell discouraged and overwhelmed, but every stage brings on new attributes and memories for your sweet family. Congratulations!
@Amer1can_Barbie Beautifully said. We lost our sweet son last year. The video of Erika made me think of my darling daughter in law and the grief she survives through every day. My son’s friends help her and I am so thankful for their support.
@ThomRainer This is so precious! My son passed last year at 24, but he was the apple of my father’s eye. Their discussions of football, weather, coins, and working in factories was fills our family with sweet memories. Enjoy and squeeze every moment.

@DrMakaryFDA My son was in the hospital for 2.5 days before he was given saline due to the shortage. He was bed bound, it wasn’t until I asked why his heart rate was elevated that the doc said, oh he’s probably dehydrated.
@ceeburleson I am so sorry for your loss. My daughter has been struggling with the loss of her sibling, I imagine as a twin this will be especially hard. I will hold you Cee and your family in my prayers.
@MommyShark42 I’m so terribly sorry for your loss. My son died last fall. Keep whatever brings you peace. I saved roses from his funeral flowers and mixed them with rose petals that I had kept from my mom’s funeral in 2010. Grieving looks different to everyone.
@Dad_2_The_Bone My dad is a machinist and worked with stainless steel at the time; he crafted a bell that I felt could be heard for
Miles. I’d hear the bell and try to nonchalantly excuse myself before he did it again. So embarrassing. I would love to know how to whistle though!
@abarefootmomma I’m thankful that you have returned to your Bible. My sweet son died in November. Attending church and singing hymns remains very painful for me, but quiet time spent with my Bible is a great comfort. If you’d like to share verses, please DM me.
