Yesterday, a child came to me and asked if they could give me an award for being a fun, kind teacher. I said, 'thank you but that's actually just my job.'
Then they turned to me and said, 'Well, you can run in heels and that deserves an award!'

Having a parent tell me that her son still talks about the writing we did when he was in my class LAST academic year makes me so happy!

I always want to strive to make English memorable and exciting! But then again, it was all about dragons and they are pretty cool! 🐉
